Python List Built-in functions & String Operations

 

FUNCTION:

✨Cmp (list1,list2)✨ 

This method is not used in the python 3 and the above versions.

✨Len(list)✨

L1=[1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8]

Print (len(L1))

O/P:

8

✨Max(list)✨

L1=[12,34,26,48,72]

print (max(L1))

O/P:

72

✨Min(list)✨

L1=[12,34,26,48,72]

print (min(L1))

O/P:

12

✨list(seq)✨

str="Johnson"

s=list(str)

print(type(s))

O/P:

<class list>
